Thanks HIE for our lovely table floral arrangement and good service. Welcome
three new diners, Cheery, Martin and his lovely wife Qing.... can she pour a
decent beer that Qing! Martin is from the UK and from our conversation seems
to have led an interesting life and is now well settled in Dalian. Derek had
Cheery in fits of laughter with his stories of places he has been to in the
last few months in Dalian, hopefully he will post details of some of them so
we can all check them out...It was also good to see Mr O and HK who was
practicing his hand signals, plus Larry and his lovely wife LuLu there also.
It was nice to welcome Tim McCleary to Coffee. Tim has been in Dalian scouting things out from the USA prior to his move here in February when he will be working for Intel. It was also good to see a return of some of the newer members for their 2nd/3rd times, Adam, Cherry and Cindy.
Xpat Coffee Sunday November 29th
What Chuck started off in the planning stages to be just a small gathering on 20 or so for Thanksgiving Dinner turned out to be somewhat of a larger affair with nearly 50 people in attendance. It was a great time to be with friends both old and new and also for some to say their farewells to Chuck, Rahi and Marie who are all deserting us for a while.
