Hello!


I am a German national going to university here in Dalian, China. I speak fluent German, English and Chinese and have previously worked in Germany, the US (internship) and at a Chinese company here in Dalian, China. My educational background is in North American economics and Chinese studies back home in Germany – as well an educational glimpse into “public management” here in China.

I will be done with my studies here in Dalian January next year. I would like to work at a Chinese company or a foreign-Chinese joint venture in town starting after the Chinese New Year, February 2008. However, I will have to go back to Germany to write my master’s thesis no later than mid-September 2008.

I would like to work as a project manager, personal assistant or in sales.

I am convinced that my work experience, my language skills and my adaptability would make me a valuable asset for any future employer. Furthermore, I strongly believe that when working with different nationals, an intimate understanding of your business partners’ mindset and culture is as vital as speaking their language – and understanding I would be more than willing to share with any future employer.
