Halal meat can be had at the small traditional markets. Don't go to the large supermarkets. Go to the smelly ones. Just look for blue signs that sell beef or lamb. Those are where muslims typically buy their meat.

in carrefour near Shangri la, you can find halal meat, but the halal chicken is usually mixed with the cut up ones so you just have to really "look"...

Sorry, if you "mix" halal with non-halal, then it is no longer halal.

Halal deals with the raising, slaughter, and preparation of foods according to rules of Islam.

It's very similar to kosher.

well maybe mixed is not the right term...

they are packed with the "halal" seal on it...but generally placed beside the cut up ones...

Thanks for all your replies!

I have so far found halal chicken sausages in carrefour. The DVD's I have someone who has offered to take to someone he knows who sells them. Only the health products I still havnt found but I have only looked in my area so far.

A helpful bunch you all are
