Don't eat canned tuna.
*High levels of mercury
*Not dolphin safe
*Over fishing

Sorry, Charlie.

Wouldn't that be the case for fresh tuna?

Got me on that one, G-man.

If you really want to be environmentally conscience, you really should cut out all fish. The only thing that's OK to eat would be shrimp.

What are your criteria of E-consciousness Heiney?
- Sustainability of resources (over fishing, depletion of stock...)
- Health concerns(*) (mercury...)
- "Real Cost" of the proteins (by "real" I mean, for instance are we using corn, that can be consumed by humans to produce meat, is the production energy efficient, etc...?)
- Collateral deaths of Dolphins. (fully documented & reported but not acted upon)

- You can add Farm Salmon to shrimps as a low cost (production) protein (the food efficiency is about 1:1).

(*) these health issues could also be seen in the light of Fish Meat vs Meat.
