What are the dates of the 2008 International Fashion Festival, how do I get tickets, and how much are they?

If anyone has exact dates or ticket info I'd still like more info. I have tickets back to the states mid-Sept and I'd hate to leave a couple days before the fashion show and miss it! Also, I don't want to switch my flight to a later date if I can't get tickets. Are they hard to obtain?

Why are you so interested in it? Do you have any idea of what an individual can do there?

Normally Dalian inter'l Fashion Festival begins between 5-9 september every year, and the ticket entry of professional business Salon for chinese is 50 yuan, and for a foreigner??? last year i went there with a frenchman, we entred charge free cause we've given our professional infos as company name/sector/adresse...or a visit card will be great!

And the ticket of professional Fashion Show Haute Couture reserved for VIP, it must be more expensive than 3000 yuan (for chinese) for a foreigner. If you have enough money and like it very much, what cares?

Honestly I have no idea what it's like or what goes on. But being a female that loves fashion I figured it might be interesting since I was going to be in town while it was going on. (That's a long way from home in Arizona!) I'm trying to make the most of seeing and doing everything I can in the couple years I'm in Dalian. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience new things - including going to one of the world's biggest fashion shows. I either get in the game while I'm in Dalian, or I miss out on those opportunities. Those who live amazing lives MAKE it happen, they don't just sit around hoping interesting experiences come their way. I am SO excited to see and do everything I possibly can during my short time living in China! What an adventure!
