Court hire nominal (I've already paid). We'll need at least 6 to get started I feel. The court is already marked out and net and balls are there. Court currently available Saturday morning and afternoon, with other DAYS a possibility, but nights will be difficult because of transportation difficulties.

so how far is this sports club, say from maritime university? and how do i get there? i've never travelled around dalian that much so the places mentioned in your link didn't ring any bell for me

You need to take an overnight bag (kidding). Get to Dalian Xing Gui Che Zhan (light rail (train) station) and travel at least to Kaifaqu (Development Zone). Catch a # 3 bus from Kaifaqu main street to Jin Hai Wan or take a taxi. If several travelled from Dalian, the cab could be shared. For further details, consult the 'international sports stadium' site (definitely not the birdsnest but serves as a pigeon roost!) For the journey, take a book or MP4? If you think it's a long way, that's how far I travelled from Kaifaqu to the previous venue, the light industrial university, by the international airport.

I'll be there in dalian after the 28th, I'm pretty much free whenever, so up to you guys on who'll be free when to play. Kafaqu isn't too bad i suppose, i'll make a trip out there every once in a while to play. Is there usually other people there to play? or if we get 6 will it be triples. In anycase, I'm good, so how about... next saturday? since that seems ot be the best time or everyone else? Not this coming on haha I'll be in Beijing getting lost.

This all feels a bit like shadow boxing to me and I share some of the blame for that.
I suggest we aim to play at 1:30 pm, this Saturday (2nd August) and that 'long haulers' aim to be at Kaifaqu Qing Gui Zhan (Light Rail Train Station, Dalian Development Zone)at 1 pm. then we can take a cab. So, I need to know who's a-comin'. And you need to, too. So, numbers please.
