30000 per month only haha ??????just nothing as I'm a student and my tuition fee is 40,000 rmb(DLMU) for a year excluding living,pocket money and all other exp.I belong to a middle class family bt I never show off.I think it's so cheap to show off on the open forum,if some body spends 4000rmb for a month being a worker here in China,I strongly believe he's telling alie as China is not a developed country.Chinese themselves moving to other countries to earn high and for better living standards.If I could get admission in any deveoped country I could never study here (though I love China)same is the case with 90 % foreign workers here as they couldn't find a better or even a job to earn 6000rmb in their own country.(I'm not talking abt the rest of 10 % as they r capabale and highly qualified with degrees like PHDs).No body likes to leave home country without appropriate reason,so stop bullshits and don't try to impress others by fabricating lies.

im not sure how its possible to spend 30k in a month here unless you go to king/love/etc every night and buy a bottle...hehe i spend about 10k/month right now...2k on housing, about 8k on food/drink/taxi, but it's only temporary as im a student studying abroad and somehow got a nice scholarship. i think long-term i could be pretty satisfied in dalian spending about 5 or 6k a month... if i came back to work i would definitely get a roommate,get a better value on the money i spend on housing, and cut down on drinking expenses..

Is that a contest of the lowest survival budget, a jealousy & frustration venting or what?

- I can survive in Dalian on a zero budget, staying with friends will do quite nicely for that purpose...

- I won't give specifics on that subject amongst pennyless students and teachers that believe that getting a good "secure" job is a way to financial prosperity.

- But between Golf, Dinner out, residence expenses, travel, transportation, vehicles, personnel (maids, drivers, security, cooks, gardners, secretaries, accountants, personal assistants, lawyers, money managers, etc...), clothes, jewels, watches, massage, manicure, boat, private acupuncture, dietetician, imported French wine(*) & cheese, etc...
...there is not much left to buy the occasional "bottle" at king/love...

- Especially with those recent food increases, I really don't know how you cope with 30,000 USD Yuansheng...

- KEEP FEEDING THE PIG... (...gy bank)

i agree with goldman not to give specifics to "broke" students here in Dalian...For the sake of informing you, though the main reason that there are "foreign workers" here, is for the salary, did it even enter your little brain that maybe we can get the same salary in our own country but we chose to work here for the sake of experience?? It may seem bullshit to you considering the fact that you know nothing about being a "foreign worker" since maybe you are still living off your parents' money, so I take it that you know nothing about gaining career experience. Try to read and UNDERSTAND the original post. He was trying to get a poll on expenses since he is on vacation in Dalian most of the time, which means that excludes paying school fees. Get it??
