Re:the most exciting music to you 8 Months, 1 Week ago
My favorite songs are "Sure Know Something, "Love Gun", "I Stole Your Love", "Detroit Rock City", "God Of Thunder", "War Machine", "Hide Your Heart", "I Love It Loud", "Pycho Circus", "Forever", "Beth", "New York Groove (which was also the New York Giants theme song during the Super Bowl this year), "Cold Gin (when performed live)", "Deuce", "Strutter", "King Of The Night Time World", "Creatures Of The Night", "Plaster Caster", "Firehouse (when performed live)", "Calling Dr. Love", "Unholy", "Tears Are Falling", "Do You Love Me", and "I Was Made For Lovin You".
Hong Laowai makes me unhappy. I really think he should change his name to Daisy Laowai.
When I'm in a chillin mood I crank up some Bob Marley.

True music must serve the revolution.
Here is my list of favorites:
The East is Red
Navigating the Seas Depends on the Helmsman
Mao's Words Are Engraved in Our Hearts
The Great March
Show Us The Path
Peace and Friendship (Either the Chinese or Russian versions are OK)
Compositions by Zhang Guangtian (张广天) bring joy to my heart and tears to my eyes. It's a pity that some are considered too extreme. I don't share that view. Here is a sample of some of the lyrics:
QUOTE: I move forward with you, Mao Zedong...
Mao Zedong, Mao Zedong, with you I charge a hail of bullets
When love and battle have become the same today
Give me, ah give me power, Mao Zedong
The entire disco-esque album entitled "The Red Sun" (紅太陽) is good music to listen to while toiling in the fields. Pity that iPods are so darned capitalistic.
