Here are some more ridiculous and juvenile things you can say to the French.
French cooking is okay but its only that good because the English taught them how to cook.
I tried to go to France in August but it was shut.
Say you can speak French but just speak English and add an O or an A at the end of the word. (Amazingly this language technique sometimes works for Spanish)
Is it true you take 2 or 3 hours to eat lunch and you each drink a bottle of wine?
Is it true Finland did not vote for you to get the Olympics because you insulted their food?
In case youre wondering Im English. Ive been to France and I liked it, and its true they care much more about food than the English and they dont tolerate bad food or wine. Something that really annoys me about English restaurants is when they boil vegetables to death Ive never seen that happen in a French restaurant.
But here is a list of some of the food and drink the English do better than the French.
Chips (they are better than French fries, Will people here start calling French Fries I luv China Fries)
Fish & Chips
Real Ale
Gin
Cider
Meat
Apples
Mustard
Brown sauce
Lancaster Hot pot (this not the Chinese kind)
Shepards pie
Fishermans pie
Sandwiches (An English gambling addict invented them)
Ploughman’s Sandwich and ploughman’s chunky
Crisps
Indian food
Just in case you think I hate the French here are some things the English can’t do and the French can;
Make wine, grow olives, boil peas, drink sensibly, know how to act in the sun, speak foreign languages.
I hope this has given all you Chinese some insight into English French relations. If post seams ridiculous, juvenile it’s because it is! just like many of the other posts here.
