school strike! 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago
the chinese teachers at my school are on strike. they say it doesn't concern me and that i should just teach. but i feel like a rat. strike is "ba4 gong2".

this is day 2. more of a sit-in strike. the kids are doing self study. the homeroom teachers are still around. i walk by the rooms and it looks just like the "self study period" they have everyday.

i guess this way it counts as a school day. the kids have their monthly (?) testing on friday so it will bwe interesting to see how this pans out.

inflation is up. china is putting men out in space and spending billionsw on olympics but my school still doesn't have flush toilets.

Strike! it's really news for us. cos there's seldom happen in schools. emm it seems that the labour union has worked. i will keep an eye on it. By the way which school u teach ?
