Hello- I was wondering if anyone has any information on shipping luggage from Dalian to the U.S. Myself and some friends are planning on traveling around China and Southeast Asia and then flying back to the United States. We've been living in Dalian for awhile and can't carry our luggage with us during our travel. Is there any way to ship our luggage home. We have 8-10 suitcases that weigh about 50 pound (22 kg) range each. Any information on pricing, companies, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

A couple of friends of mine shipped several large boxes of clothes, kitchen supplies, and other things that weren't breakable or worthy of theft and it took about a month. I don't remember how many boxes but they were about the size of suitcases and paid around 3000RMB for the whole deal. I think he sent via freighter through the Postal system or EMS or something like that. Of course the fees should be a bit higher based on energy costs but this is a rough guestimate.
