BE CAREFUL OF TAKING AN APARTMENT HERE,THERE IS CONSTANT BUILDING WORK BEING CARRIED OUT AND I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THE GAS TO BE CONNECTED FOR 4 MONTHS,MY NEIGHBORS ARE HELL,APART FROM THAT THE VIEW IS NICE,HAPPY HUNTING.

Gas will be connected when the number of residents reaches 70% of capacity. Standard in C apartments.
There's not much you can do about building work although if you are talking about the noise from apartment decorators they are not allowed to do work which makes noise audible in other apartments between 9 pm and 6 am.

Normally, the gas pipe could be connected just when the building is +80% occupied, but this "80%" could be difined by the building management staffs only!Safety Concern and cost effective!
The buiding work is almost everywhere in Dalian now, it might be for hours a day while it depends.Sometimes it lasts for a whole day!While anyway if it's done within the regulated time range,you have to take it and better try to enjoy the view from your window.

well thanks for the reply but i was just trying to warn people of moving in here,we were promised the gas would be connected in 2 weeks when we moved in that was july,so its up to you but please be aware several prople have had problems with this complex and they also tryed to charge us 600 rmb extra per month because i am a foreignermanother great blessing for having a big nose and blue eyes,but the view is great... have fun.
