if you have the insurance letter of the university,they might give you 70%concession.i suggest you first affiliated hospital,as its amongest best hospitals of dalian.you can directly go to the head of hospital at 12th floor(i forgot exact)he is kind enough and can speak english well.you can also search a doctor there named ''dr Subash''or simply go to the dalian medical university in morning and take dr subash with you.when ever any foreign student gets any problem he takes dr subash with him,he is kind enough too.

I once hurt my hand, cutting a nerve. Went to the number 1 hospital, the doctors on the emergencv staff spoke English. Declined an operation because the operation room was a little dirty (scraps and drips of raw sewage on floor). Went to number 2 hospital for a check-up, the specialist there spoke excellent English.

second affiliated hospital is more clean and doctor can speak english well,its true ist affiliated is a bit dirty but all the senior surgeons are there.

Poor guy ,have you done your problem already ? Go Second Affiliated Hospital ,it is a right one for you to choice ,the doctors there could speak a little English ,they are not very good at speaking English but they are better for listening ,almost doctors there are Master Degree . They can understand you a lot if you speak not that fast .Good luck.

Hello, apelsin! 3weeks ago I also had some problems with my health and the insurance paper from Russia didnt help me at all THe doctors said it was not an international company but domestic... Anyway I made a tel.call to this company and they said I should collect all the cheques and when i come back home they will pay for everything. So, check ur insurance company and good luck)
