Yabai,
no deduction problems so far with HSBC for remittance from abroad. They follow the code which side of the transaction pays the bill.
And also not with SPDB for the two times I got foreign money there from abroad in the last 2 years.

So as long as you handle the staff carefully considering parallel tasks they perform nicely

Hi DilJo

It is a multi currency account now. But from the beginning I had three different. But one day they asked me to use my RMB accont for the USD and EUR also. So they just moved the money.

Yes it goes fast from Sweden to here but then it take some extra time because it has to got through the exchange people.
Yes the Swedish banks are also slower than this. When I pay my bills to my Chinese factories it dont take more than 5 minutes wherever thay are in China. Also the cost is much lower here.
For the exchang rate of RMB in Sweden, it allmost follows the International daily rates I get from North America. Now I always take RMB with me to Sweden instead of changing them here.

Re:Bank of China sucks 2 Years ago
mine is also a multi currency account. i am here representing my company from States, collaborating with a chinese partner. i am not an employee of any organisation in china nor i get payments from any entities in china.

but here is the double suck! all monies in my account are received from overseas and the statement clearly shows that, but when i went to bank of china to convert some RMB to USD, they told me i can't and need whole piles of documentary proof. proof of what? the statement shows cleary that every penny i have in that account is from overseas despoited as USD. i even showed them all the conversion from USD to RMB receipts.

anyway, thanks DilJo for the info. but if i am not wrong, these foreign banks have limited operation in china. may be i will try out.

i can't still understand why the deductions on each remittance and so far nobody in bank of china i have spoken to, have legitimate and acceptable answers...
