There's one on the same street as the Camel Bar, mentioned on another thread. I don't know the exact address of the arts and crafts store, but here's the addy for the bar:
This morning (07-01-27) there has been the big opening of an art exhibition downtown Dalian (TV coverage and local authorities). The exhibition is about antique Chinese art (vases, paintings, calligraphy, small sculptures etc.). It's not very large, it takes just one exhibition floor, but very interesting (specially the people there).
The exhibition attracts collectors and painters from the North East. It will run until January 30.
On the upper floor there are exhibitions of 4 painters. Authors are there and very intersted in explaining their work and exchange informations.
The exhibition is held in a complex (4 floors) packed with stores, painter atheliers and little art galleries. It's worth a visit.
The address is:
Zhong Shan Area - Tien Jin Street 135.
This is the pedestrian street starting at the Manhattam Towers. The place entrance is through an escalator in front of "Baskin Robins ice cream" (I do not remember the exact spelling) shop in MinSheng Street (North of Zhong Shan Square).
