i think the first step is realizing that you
are thinking in a box already. we will all be operating in some measure of wacked out concepts for all of our time on earth.
so i guess the first question should be...
how do you discover and define the boxes you're already thinking in? i think that before you can realize you're in a box, you must first have a desire for the truth, whatever it may be . then you must be willing pursue it, wherever it may lead. the thing is that that's often a scary process because we know that it will lead to change, and we don't know in what way, nor can we measure how much it will be...so most people back down and settle for their comfy 2X2 box where nothing will challenge them,
change them, or cause them to grow (which is usually a painful process!)
is this making any sense?
so... i think before you can fight convention, you have to dig deep and acknowledge that you
are conventional in some way and
are thinking inside some box whether you know it or not...
then you can begin to pursue the fight...and if you're willing enough you will be sure to discover your boxes...
then its a question of how badly do you want those boxes broken...are you willing to fight through the illusions you thought were fact??
how badly do you want truth and reality?
