Hello Dalian's Xpats!
First of all, I thank you all for all the information you gave on this site. I will be in Dalian in a month and I was full of questions and I found lot of answers here!
I am French and I come in Dalian to work.
I am right now in Argentina where I spent more than 3 years and I must say that I was quite surprised with some of the post of the forum!
I though life in Dalian would be cheaper than in Buenos Aires! It looks like I was wrong.
Anyway Dalian seems to be a good place to live in!(I saw lot of pictures of the town in the facebook Dalian group)

Congrats to your decision... Moving from Buenos Aires (great city...) to Dalian will be quite a change... Rule No. 1: Don't forget to pack WARM cloths... and I mean it.. Right now it's quite cold and according to my local colleagues it will remain like this for a while...

You're gonna love it here if you're open minded and adventurous... Dalian definitely has its beautiful sides.. People are very friendly and will always try to please you (at least that’s my experience)… So, pack up your stuff and come over… Have a great flight…

So you know Buenos Aires? Yes, it is a great city, I will miss it very much! But Dalian looks very nice so I am ok!
Thank you for your advice about warm cloths It is summer here, last week we had some days at 40°, so yes the change will be very big!
