Cool site! I found this place when I was poking around trying to find somewhere to work and enjoy the beach for the summer. Anyways, Chinese national (although I've been in US longer than China), went to U of I for music in undergrad, been to Dalian once last May holiday, loved it. Anybody have a scoop for possible employment in Dalian this summer, let me know, I'll lavish my first paycheck buying you beer
I'm from about 45 minutes south of there on I-57. Spent a lot of time at some of the coffee shops (can't remember any of the names cuz it's been 10 years), at the ice rink (that still open), in a couple of the girls dorms ( wouldn't you like to know what I was doing there), and, of course at Assembly Hall.
Speaking of Assembly Hall, was Chief Illiniwek really banned from dancing at half time?
