Club Love is about the only place I know of that has DJs who play mainly RnB/HipHop music.
As for live music, I think all you're likely to find in Dalian are some Filipino bands that perform at bars.

We play RnB/HipHop music Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights after 12. We even had a huge party on the weekend playing RnB almost all night with a guest African DJ, so don't count us out for RnB in Dalian. Plus keep an eye out for another huge party, like the one at the start of March, in the next few weeks!!
