I have gotten a lot of messages from female 'members' of this site. I don't really care, but its so obvious why a lot of them are on the site to begin with.
We all know why a lot of the Female Chinese members are here.
They think we're rich and going to spend money on them. They'd be better off going to some of the Chinese clubs and hooking up with a Chinese businessman or gangster.
The "rich" xpats I know are all either married or on there way to being married anyway.

QUOTE: Jon, what's wrong with my avatar ??? do u think i'm laughing of chinese people ? if that is, you're totally wrong... i like a lot chinese people (even if they often piss me off). moreover, it's so stupid to judge someone just because of their avatar...
I don't want to pay 20 kuai just for a coffee... it's more expensive than in my country, and for me Starbuck's is just the coffee's McDonald's. i don't like that place a lot...
well, everyone's opinion is different
It's disrespectful.
You want to call me stupid for thinking you're disrespectful?
Go ahead. I put you in the same category as the Spanish Basketball Team.
You don't want to pay 20 kuai?
Bring a bottle of water and quit bitching about how poor you are. I'll bet there are plenty of guys who make less than you who enjoy a very comfortable social life in Dalian and go to events all the time.
Maybe you could take a Friday night off from going clubbing/drinking and be able to afford an "event"?
Just a thought.

Oh, so much to answer. I don't think it'll be useful... whatever, I'll answer.
1) You think my avatar is direspectful, I think it's not. I know what I think of the Chinese people, you don't. You even don't know the context when I took this pic. It's just as direspectful as a Chinese showing my big nose. I don't feel offensed. My Chinese friends don't feel offensed by this pic. Are you Chinese ? No, you're American. So shut up about that. And do you really think I'd have come back here if I despised Chinese people ? Do you think I'm kind of "masochist" ? And why am I still talking to a deaf ?
2) "You don't want to pay 20 kuai?" For a cup of coffee, not. For a glass of rhum, yes, even 25 (but not Bacardi, plz !). What else ?
3) "quit bitching". I'm not. I also enjoy a comfortable life here.
4) "Too bad it's a package deal. It's sort of like when people visit France for the beauty then meet some of the people." I can say the same for the USA. A country where people think that people still ride horses to go to work and who still think that French girls don't shave their armpits (you're wrong, this is China, guys !). I like prejudice as much as you, Jon. *wink*
5) "I don't think you'd know "love" if it smacked you in the face". Too bad. I know it. Try with another word !
PS : By the way... I really love slit eyes.

I read you r "PS" and I feel vindicated for being called prejudiced.
BTW, where are these Americans who still ride horses to go to work? If you respond with farm hands or the Amish I'm going to laugh in your face.
Why don't you quit while you're behind?
