DalianXpat only aimed at rich expats ?

I know you study MKG and communication so you will easily understand that 5 stars hotels like Sangrilla try to attract Rich Xpat because it is their target. So they organize events for promote their products.

To my mind Dalian xpat only transmit information and have not special target.

However you could notice that the people who manage the website are volonteers and there are maybe older and richer than you so they put the information that they think interesting.

Dalian xpat always searchs people to do things organize events. Maybe you can offer your help to do something for the "not rich dalian xpat" group?
I am sure they should appreciate young blood....

This comment is highly entertaining to read. Olivier, your words were well intended but a bit off base. Anyone who has met me has expected to meet an older gent and was surprised see I match nothing to their preconceived image. In fact, most of us mods are quite young but that doesn't make us less wise nor does it make us wealthy or less wealthier.

Yes we are volunteers but this has no dictation to what we allow or disallow on the site. We volunteer because we can, because we have things to offer, namely time and website or Dalian knowledge. The event hosters are always welcome here and encouraged. Who offers something in the way of expats, we usually post it as an event, so long as its clean and safe.

I have kind of mentioned already to your countrymate, Alexis.chu that if he was willing to step forward and help with event coordination, I am sure the Coltsfan would be very pleased to see the contribution.

Anyway, I am not an old guy and I have a full head of hair.

As for the photo, it is nowhere near the same as Gman's. Gman doesn't have the stones to put Gene Simmons on his photo. I am so surprised you don't know who Gene Simmons is, he is the greatest base guitarist/rock performer in the history of mankind or other. He is one of the founders of KISS, come on they went to Europe often, you never heard of him?
