I have had the pleasure of dining at the Riviera twice before. The first time I had the paste and the second the steak tips. Both meals were very good and I would recommend this place to anyone not on a budget as it can be expensive.
The only down side was when I tried a 3rd trip to this restaurant and discovered they are closed on Sundays. So if you are planning a night out with that special person this is a good place to go, just not on Sundays. they need to add their hours to their banner on Dalian ex pats

Hello People,
I have dined at the Riviera numerous times and every single time the chefs have prepared an outstanding feast. Jennifer is a great host and has trained her staff in the art of casual service, a new one in China I say.
I lived in China for over 14 years ( 14.3 it is) and must say that this restaurant offers the best food in China.
The steak tartar is just perfect.
By the way, if you are a tartar fan like me, try Le Bouchon in Shanghai to compare.
