Hey all,

Last summer we went a few times for fishing trips at sea here, with some friends on a small rented boat (including the Chinese owner / "and where to find the fish" guy).

We are now looking for a little bigger boat so we can go with some more people (any idea's where to rent??). During the season you can catch a lot of mackerel, good to smoke afterwards . There seems to be larger fish to catch as well.....

We have enough gear so that is not a problem. A time at sea in the sun, cold beers, a bbq afterwards (if we catch something) and of course fishing!

There are hundreds of large private commercial fishing boats beside the Golden Bay Bridge; I'm sure most of them would take you for a day of fishing. These boats hold about 10 people.

Sup! It's leevi and jess..if you get anything goin and need an extra 2 people let us know...sounds like a good time...or even whatever you find out let us know if you don't mind.
