Teaching in universities 2 Months ago
A friend of mine has always wanted to work in China, especially in Dalian,as a university teacher. She's in Florida now. She has a Bachelor's degree in Spanish, a Master's in linguistics as well as teaching certificate. Does anyone know the recruitment information of foreign teachers? Thank you.

Thanks,Heiney and James. Do most foreigners get jobs as teachers by sending resumes to whatever universities they are interested in?

You can try that, but most of the time the e-mail addresses you find on the internet are not quite accurate.

Best bet is to call the FAO or the Dean of the English Department directly.

Some places, if you call the FAO, they will say talk to the English Department. Other times, if you call the English Department, they will say you should talk to the FAO.

.
It was beyond me that any college educated Brit or Yank would short sell him/her selves (*) for 1000USD... so I looked up the http://www.middlekingdomlife.com/guide/ provided by Heiney.

...and discovered some "reasons" that make A LOT of sense.
.

(*) Teaching is too... hard for that!
