Has anyone taught English at Dalian Medical University before? What was your experience like? The good? The bad?

What do you teach (lesson plans, etc)? Class size? What to watch out for? Any info you can share will be helpful!

well i was english teacher in English Corner of Dalian Medical University from 2006 - 2007 .. well nice people to hang out with if you are considering to teach i believe it would be a great experience ! ..

I've never taught before so teaching a bunch of university students seems intimidating, no? Your thoughts?

well i have been teaching in different places but here in Dalian Medical university i was just a volunteer teacher for the English Corner Students as i am also student in the same university... but the teaching thing to university students is far more easier and fun... because they are more interested and have a lot of questions to ask ... the class size is about 30 - 70 depends what you get...
Trust me .. its hell lot of fun to teach university students ... ! i hope you may have good time ! ..

Why not teach japanese at DLUFL? very near to the Dalian Medical University
Well,i guess it will be easier for u to teach english at DLMU,since they learn english as a second/minor language, not so serious.And since the school is open to you,it means you are quite qualified, so just go easy.
Personally,i think a good teacher could direct students to know some certain field of its subject. He is giving inspiration rather than teaching the limited content of a textbook.The class is alive and creative rather than feeling long and dry.
Hope you could feel fun being a teacher and making friends at the same time.
