I feel that the local party would have a great case to bring the marathon out of Beijing to Dalian. It would be something if that happened because I know that Dalian lost out to Rowing events Quigdao.

. That'd be cool! Traffic jams all summer, no hotel rooms available, queue up in the restaurants, police presence all over the place, flights overbooked... Thank you, but no thank you! BTW, where the heck can anyone row in Dalian, or Qingdao for that matter? I think Dalian wanted the sailing, not the rowing.

i couldn't remember, rowing or sailing! But wouldn't the profile of Dalian step-up. Make it more internation.. Just imagine the runners finishing the marathon going around Xinghai Square. As Mr King said "I HAVE A DREAM"

No, No, No, please not. Not another "step-up of the profile of Dalian" The Summer world economic forum was almost too much to take and even this one is coming back in 2009. So please give us the chance to stay out of the olympic hype.
