Even in USA, our Culinary Institute Of America has French judges for the final exams to graduate our Chefs, that tells you something about the quality of cooking. My father, himself, is a huge collector of French Wines that cost huge money now. My cousin has a wine cellar hidden behind a book shelf and down a brick corridor and into a small, dark room, are some of France's finest and most expensive grapes, just for collection purposes.
