can a foreigner leave and return to china please h 6 Months, 1 Week ago
I am a british citizen,i have my foreign experts certificate and foreigners residents permit,can i oleave china to return home for 2 weeks and return through immigration upon my return unhindered or do i need to do something before i return or leave,any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yep no problem deano, they will check your visa for entries and when you next need work permit etc, you will have a medical. Apart from that you're free as a bird

thanks for your reply,my original visa was a z visa for entry,my university applied for and gave me my residents permit and foreign experts certificate,does this inhibit my leaving,i have seen you on this web site and hope you dont mind me asking you,thanks again

After you get residence permit, visa Z will be cancelled and residence permit appers in passport.
aand this one have no any fields with number of entriss (like visas)
Visa Z is just to enter the country and get further papers...
Who knows about number of entries, please advice
