Aussie citizen in custody in DL; visa & passport 3 Months, 1 Week ago
I am aware of an Australian guy that has been incarcerated at a detention centre near the Dalian airport for nearly 2 weeks now. His incarceration is related to visa problems (a possible visa overstay), and a lost/stolen passport.
It's all a bit of a mess at this point in time. The Australian embassy in Beijing is aware and involved in his case, but I was wondering if there might be an Australian citizen (I'm not Australian), here to give a fellow countryman some moral support and a helping hand.
I don't think it'll be wise of me to go into too much details on the open forum board, but please contact me by PM if anyone is in a position to help.
