I have seen many, many postings where members are giving out their personal mobile/home telephone numbers. I would advise against this. If you wish to give out your phone number to a particular member, I would do so via a PM or e-mail, these are safer methods and if you happen to get a "stalker" (and they are out there), you can always block that person. Once you've given out your number, that's it, shows over - time to get a new one.
Yes, I agree! I've seen that most Chinese friends easily post out their private info on the net elsewhere too. Either they aren't aware of the negative implications that could happen or too simple minded to see things..
I think stone and chefeng 's advice is very good. Someone one of expat will aware this piont.The negative implications will be happen to the simple minded persons.Got to be cautious.
but leave private infromation sometime for the friendly person is useful to contact, anyone's thought is different.
