I go the Zhongshan District Pool/Fitness (pool, ping pong, basketball), etc.
Across from Nanshan Garden hotel (about 5-10 minute walk south of Sanba Squaer).

Not near Labor Park, but worthy addition to pools in Dalian
Pool across from main entrance to Dalian Maritime University is pretty good:
-15 rmb (monthly discount card available)
-locker deposit is 20 rmb (refundable)
-clean, small locker area, basic showers (yes, hot water)
-large pool (Olympic?)
-both lap swimming and play area (also separate diving pool)
-new pool (about 1 year old)

Does anyone know if there is a public swimmingpool suitable for children (for example with some slides)? I went on a long drive yesterday with some visitors from abroad to the huge "Water world paradise" that is in alot of pictures, but it was closed! Now trying to find something else. I heard there should be a nice one in the Development Zone, but what´s the name and address of it? Telephone number? Also, in previous posts Jim mentioned a pool across Dalian Maritime University, and someone else Dalian Natatorium. Phone numbers and addresses?
