I had a Livejournal blog that I linked pictures onto from Photobucket.com when I was in Japan for family and friends back home to see what I was up to. But here Livejournal.com seems to be another victim of the Great Firewall. I can access Photobucket but not Livejournal.
Are there any decent blog sites in English that I can access from China and either post a fair amount of pics on or link pics to from photobucket?

I have this same problem. My LJ which I've had FOREVER is suddenly inaccesible. It was alright for a while, then suddenly firewalled.

Blogspot comes and goes. Multiply is blocked as well.

What I'm doing right now is accessing my LJ through an anonymous server. You can update from there but you can't read locked posts.

Thanks Gwolford. I tried that and could see my page but none of the pictures show up.

I hate to promote the Microsoft megagiant, but Windows Live Spaces isn't blocked and you can post blogs, photos, a lot of things.

There's a quick fix for getting around the Great firewall, if you use (or are willing to install) firefox.
Much better than IE in my opinion anyway...

3-step Quick fix to view blogspot, livejournal, wikipedia, and wordpress.com:

1. Copy and paste the following into notepad:

3. In Firefox, click Tools->Options->Advanced->Network->Settings… fill the text below in the blank under “Automatic proxy configuration URL”:

Press Reload on the right, press OK, and OK. Relaunch Firefox, and you’re done!
