Went to Fajitas today and was surprised to see that the place was cleared out and locked up, the shop's sign had been taken down and there was a note posted on the door. My driver told me something like "ting ye" (does that mean it has closed down?) Disappointing. I hope they're not gone for good. Does anyone know anything about it?

Mexica food in Dalian? Better than it sounds, Tuesday, 12 February 2008
I went to "Fajitas" a couple of weeks back and really did not expect much...To my surprise it wasnt bad, actually quite good... We had fajitas, tacos, a salad, and soup with a couple of beers and paid less then 200RMB... The service was pretty slow, but not that bad... I don't know why the other reviews had problems with the order of food as mine came in the correct order and time... Maybe I was lucky... Not too busy but had a couple of tables and the service was friendly and could speak some English... Enough to take and present the order... Overall, was a good experience and I will be going back soon...

The food was decent considering this is China and Mexican food isn't too common here. I've been there twice, once for tacos, which were pretty good, and once for enchiladas, which has a weird salsa that would have great on a pizza. Overall decent food, and service.

i was really excited about the prospect of mexican food and really wanted to give this place a good review. But I can't. Anywhere where a restaurant that has more staff than diners and still takes 45 minutes (30 mins of patient waiting, 15 of polite prodding) to deliver a bottle of corona has deep seated problems. Similarly the food arrived in no particular order including an ice cream course half way through the meal. If a place is kind of busy I can forgive it but not when its as dead as it truely deserves to stay. The food was so-so for the price. In summary you'd be more satisfied all round if you ordered a UPS delivery from mexico.

Where there yesterday. We had quiet a mix from the menu. The food was served withpout any order, so that the galic bread arrived after we finished all the dishes. The salad arrived between the already served fries and the finished enchilladas but with the pumpkin soup.
The organisation is just rediculous.
The food tasted like old shoes had nothing to do with mexican food and you do not get what is written on the menu. So read carefully what you order and check again what you get.
The service is typical chinese, they do not see nor hear you and when you managed to get someones attention prepare to explain everything they have to do.
It was the first time I really felt cheated for my money in a restaurant.
