I visited this Restaurant shortly after it opened in January when the menu was limited. Nevertheless the food was exceptional. The scallops I had at the beginning where huge and unbelievably tasty. I rarely finish meals in China but here everything went!! The steak was so mouthwatering that I know I will be back when I next visit Dalian. I will report again after my next visit. Cost wise it was more expensive than you usually find outside Beijing and Shanghai but less than the Hotels next door and with much better quality and service. Delightful to find such a restaurant ...hope they spread to other places particularly Yantai.

This new restaurant is still evolving but already provides a genuine high quality European fine dining experience in Dalian. It is pretty expensive and dinner for 2 will probably set you back in excess of 400 RMB and it could go quite a bit higher.I had a starter of crab cakes which were as good as any I have ever eaten and I've eaten them in places that were famous for them. The portion was generous and the crab cakes themselves had just the right sweetness to them and were well seasoned. For main course, I had a rib eye steak that came with potatoes and green beans. The potatoes were well cooked and presented but a trifle bland and under seasoned. The green beans were perfectly prepared although the portion was a little small. The steak was truly magnificent. It was generous in size, remarkably tender, and perfectly prepared. It was as good a steak as I have ever eaten. The dessert was pretty good although it suffered quite a bit from under ripe strawberries. This restaurant is the perfect place for those occasions when you want to splurge on a romantic dinner with your wife/girlfriend or if you have a client that you want to impress. There is no doubt that this is one of the most expensive restaurants in town but it is also one of the best and it is the only authentic Western restaurant that I have seen here.
