If you are going for a restaurant that serves a wide variety of authentic Indian food, do not go to this restaurant. There is a hotel nearby with a decent Indian restaurant on one of the upper floors. It is much better. They have a much wider selection for a similar price.
if you are referring to zhong shan hotel...i guess the ratings have to speak for themself...
this resto just keeps getting better...they have more variety of curries than ever and more varieties of nan..(garlic, kashmiri and the plain one)..more food choices...
the waiters speak a bit english too..and the place is clean and cozy...
highly recommended!

A great restaurant for Xpat\'s, Monday, 21 April 2008
Went to this place with a friend last weekend, was really good. Food was fantastic, especially the naan!! Prices were ok for western food, considering they have authentic sub-continental chef's cooking it. Service was mediocre, in saying that it food came promptly but felt like it was a problem everytime u asked the waiter for something. Someone needs to give them a bit of encouragement.
Anyway overall a very satisfied visit

Friend of mine recommended the place. Since then, I've been there few time bringing different groups of friends. I've even introdue to my GM when he came over last month. He likes it very much. Love the spinich curry and the naan. it'll be perfect if they've garlic naan. Ventilation is not that good though. Clothes/hair will get a smell after. Overall its a place to recommend. Will definately be back for more.

For UK expats don't bother with the Menu ask to speak to the Chef
He is Indian and speaks excellent English. He Knows all the favourite UK curries but he is limited by some ingredients we use but he will make you a dish as close to if not better than home. The plain buttered Naan is to die for. Portions are not big but the price is so cheap, suggest a table for 4 order 6 dishes and you will not be disapointed See you there I'll be back
