I've been going for 3 weeks and say it's well worth a try. It's a great way to see whether learning Chinese is for you or not. I agree with previous about the teachers sticking to the book BUT, I mentioned this to my tutor and she was more than happy to take suggestions.
Now we have loads of practise conversation, vocab lists etc etc. For 400 a month you can't go far wrong
I attended this language school a few months back. The staff and teachers are extremely friendly and helpful. I found the teaching to be very good. The class sizes are small, so there is ample time for the teacher to assist you with your Chinese. The only issue I had with the instruction is that it was too structured. Almost everything was done by the book, which didn't allow much time for "free talk". Other than that, the teaching was great.
Another good point about this school is the location. It's in the downtown area, so it's easy to get to by bus.
