Three of us packed it off to Tapas the other night, I had heard about the meat platter for two (285 RMB)that is really enough for four. Well, three of us ate it, one was a lite eater and we polished it off. It has about every kind of (US normal) meat on it your could think of and except for cutting the fat before cooking, it was great. They gave us four different sauces to dip in, two were tasteless, one was basil and one was something spicy and good.
There is a nice variety on the menu, so I'll go back and try some new things. The cheese cake is *real* cheese cake and I enjoyed that. The total bill for 3 people w/coffee and cheese cake was 550, which I thought to be a little steep.
They did a good job of trying to imitate Spanish (not Mexican) decor. They service was great, but maybe that is because we were alone there. I'll still go back and try something else.
The cab driver couldn't find it even with the directions in Chinese. We got let out about 4 block from it and kept asking along the way....It was worth it. It is not Tex-Mex or Cal-Mex, but it is finger licking good. I had fajitas (recommended) others at the table had burritos (a little skimpy portion for my taste) and I don't know what my wife had, but I tasted it and it was good. They have a real assortment of desert (they use real sugar), but no 'just plain coffee'.
