I tried it today in Shengli Plaza(this would be the third location).Pretty good selection of flavours and they all look scrumptious.I had a caramel ice cream and it was very tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. And I found paying 15RMB for a tiny scoop beeing a bit pricey.
Elegant dining environment, comfortable sitting, nice background music and delicious food. What else would you expect to find in a restaurant? Maybe a reasonable price?! Well, we had that one too. Excellent gourmet experience. We had a couple of eel dishes, one of them being an eel omelet which I will definitely recommend .Sushi, sashimi, noodles and salad , were all very tasty. The menu is all Chinese but the pictures are very helpful and also, at least one waitress speaks some English. They also have tepanyaki tables and some traditional tatami rooms.
I definitely recommend this place and for sure we will go back there to try some more delicious Japanese dishes (the menu is quite thick).
Honestly, I've never heard about this hotel until I read the advertising about the buffet. But,after a bit of research I found out that the hotel just opened in august. It's a 5 star hotel part of Accor Group, so I said I should give it a try. A bit disappointing though. But, for only 64rmb/person including tea and coffee I shouldn't had expected more. The food itself wasn't too bad but the selection was really poor. I don't think I've ever had a buffet dinner with such a small selection of dishes. Japanese cuisine was represented by one type of sushi and salmon sashimi. Chinese cuisine had a couple of seafood dishes, some fried noodles and fried veggies and also noodles and veggies soup. Coming from the west, of course some grill, mashed potatoes, some pork fillet.Pretty decent selection of desserts and fruits. The wine as usual was more expensive than the meal:68rmb/glass.They also have "a la carte" but we didn't check.
Overall it wasn't a very bad experience , but I think I'll wait a few good months before I give it another try. Maybe it was just the struggle of the beginning.
And don't forget to go in pairs. The deal is buy one dinner get one free. And only for the month of November.

All you can eat Korean and Japanese buffet for only 38rmb.We had a very good lunch there on Sunday. The selection of dishes was quite big and the quality exceeded the expectations: tempura, some sushi, different Korean pancakes, seafood, salads, grilled meats, noodles and many other Korean dishes. The best pick was the grilled skewered meat. Very tender and very tasty.
It was a very good experience and we will definitely go back there in the future.
The place is behind So-Mart sport store on the ground floor.
They have different locations. We tried the one in Peace Plaza. Their motto is: "The drink of Easy Way, let's implied meaning one by one do you want another?"Quite dizzy. Maybe I should add this one to the Chinglish post. Anyway, the food is not too bad if you're really hungry and you don't have another choice; reasonably priced. They have a good variety of Chinese, Korean and Western dishes. Big selection of drinks: iceshakes(very nice), milkshakes, coffee and tea. The service is a bit hectic; young waiters looking very confused and not very friendly. The menu is both in English and Chinese.
Am I going to give it a second try? I don't think so.
