pretty good considering,  Saturday, 13 October 2007

the place is bumpin most of the time which is waaaay more than can be said about most places i visited. the usual for dalian bars in terms of prices (expensive) but the drinks were good. if you're a dude i'm sure its great what with the skimpy pole dancers and Filipino dancers. the music is fun for dancing too, its the usual dalian/chinese faves: believe-cher, kiss-prince, etc... while i've had fun both times i went there, the first time a waiter refused to serve me water and told me they didn't have it so the second time i brought a bottle of water and they told me you can't bring outside water and they do sell it so... that was kinda whack. fun place, end of story.

from two irish girls, it was just aiite,  Sunday, 30 September 2007

once again, the information presented about this place was incorrect. if you're gonna say, "ladies drink free" they should be able to drink free. and by free, i don't mean ONE free drink with purchase of your first drink.   Oh, and did i mention that one free drink was in a midget glass and, if at all, only 1% alcohol?

The service was decent, the drinks are good depending on who makes them, and the atmosphere was lacking in people more than flavor. the music was very typical china (the only reason i score it above avg is bc they played bloc party). drink prices were typical china. all in all... it was just aiite. not a place to go if you're young and looking for fun. but i am sure its awesome if you're 35+ looking to drink with a bunch of oirish.

older crowd-fine, whateva. drinks were expensive and seriously, had no alcohol in them. straight up juice. also, after i went, i verified the info on their flyer-- i wasn't tripping, but nothing on it was actually offered and even when i asked about it they just said they didn't know what i was talking about. whackattack.
the music was pretty good but these bands always play the same old faves... the girls were hot if thats what ur going for. the dj was bumpin disco and funk, right on.
