I was a card holder of this NUBA location for a year. Whenever you spent over 25RMB you could get a sticker. Earn 12 stickers and you could get a very nice coffee mug or cow. The coffee mugs are excellent quality and also come with nice matching saucer. Also, for the 19RMB for the card, each time you used it you could save some small RMB. I worked in the area so eating there once a week racked up the stickers and saved me more than the card was worth. When I first joined NUBA, there was a choice of refillable drinks, either iced tea or orange juice that tasted alot like TANG. The burger dishes were nice, big burger with eggs, noodles, fries, and some carrots. You would also get a choice of side dish and I always chose the chicken nuggets with tangy sauce, they called it Mexican style. However, the recent times has had the management get cheap. The burgers are undercooked, red and gooie, no more can you get fries, veggies, and noodles. You get a cute little hockey puck for a burger with a few tomatos and an egg on the bottom, to look like a volcano, maybe nice if you were eating at some fancy restaurant but not for the price or flavor. They charge more now for less. They cut back on how many nuggets, used to be 5, now 4 and also you get either tea or TANG flavored OJ. Sometimes, you don't get the refillers either, maybe they are lazy to keep it filled or they are trying to cut back on costs. Whatever the reason, this NUBA is going cheap on the customers and while the locals never speak up on this, I am. I won't stand for sub par service when Amici is downstairs and has good pizza for the same price as a burger, or less. I don't recommend this restaurant anymore. The waiting staff isn't rude but they are slow and sometimes incompetent. I have recently had to repeat requests for simple things such as extra ketchup. If there any Chinese reading this report and have ties to the Roosevelt 4th floor NUBA Dian, tell those people that their food is not to the standards of the face they depict on their advertisements, George Washington. If you want a burger, McDonalds at least gives you an appropriately cooked piece of meat at better prices. If you want a nice eating environment, go to the Manchu restaurant on the Roosevelt 4th floor or try the Origus, German, Brazilian barbecue joints either in the mall or across Xian Rd from the Mall. Don't waste your money in NUBA.
