I cannot recommend Dawn Liu more highly. The standard of care, professionalism and treatment was so excellent that I have joked with my friends back home that it is worth flying to China from Australia for Dawn Liu if they have any dental issues.
My wisdom teeth were planned to come through without any hassles, but thanks to the grinding from my top wisdom tooth and a resulting infection from something that got caught in the gum from said grinding, I was left in the most pain I have ever experienced, on New Years Eve.
I called Dawn after my partner found her details on this website, and although I didn't get onto her on New Years Eve (she was at her yoga class), I spoke to her early New Years Day and was promptly in her surgery that afternoon.
When I was getting in the taxi, she called so that she could give directions as the surgery is not on the main road, and was there to greet me when I arrived.
After being ushered into a very clean and familiar office, Dawn confirmed what my orthodontist had managed to convey to me over the phone earlier that day. Dawn's English was superb, and for someone that speaks Chinese, took the time to speak both languages to ensure that there were not any miscommunications (none whatsoever!). Dawn was extremely knowledgeable about the medications I required, the conservative treatment and all of the options available to me.
My tooth is still making its way through the gum in a normal manner- no infection, no pain.
Dawn has called to check how I am now that I am towards the end of my antibiotic course. She also provided me with her email to be able to send through my x-rays from Australia to ensure that before I go travelling things are all okay. She is most certainly one of the best dentists out there.
