We ate at two Subways in Dalian last year. The American fast food franchises in China are somewhat different than the counterpart franchises in the United States and Canada. Unlike Pizza Hut and Taco Bell, the Subway restaurants here are more similar to the restaurants in North America.
However, I noticed that, in Dalian, the bread does not seem as fresh nor are there as many variety of cheeses as the American counterparts.
The cost is comparable to American fast food, which is more expensive then the small neighborhood family resturants here.
Still, if you want a western sandwich, the food is good and the price is reasonable.
