if you want to go to a place that has some edge to it and jumps with good music and lots of people bumping around, then this is a good place to go-- very good band who encourage people to come up and dance and have a good time
the only negative thing is that the bar staff will try and rip you off-- bring back your change only after a long time-- and you may have to remind them!-- and sometimes not the correct amount!! went last night and the bar woman tried to short-change me by 2 rmb, then offered me a pen when i called her on it-- must think i am a stupid west man
management should stop this as it degrades the club and makes it look cheap!

been to the amici coffee and food place at Hei Shi Jiao with a couple of buddies and my girlfriend-- very impressed with the service, clean, up-beat decor and the quality of food= lots of choices-- some western and chinese style-- with very good prices-- been back many times and will continue to do so
