The restaurant is convenient (around the corner from the Ramada) and open late, but I found it a bit over-priced for Korean food in Dalian. I had a simple spicy soup with tofu and a bit of seafood for 25 rmb and it was good, but I can usually get the dish for less elsewhere.
For example, the row of Korean restaurants across Victory Square, in the basement of the high-rise Korean shopping center/hotel seem to be a much better value to me, with more of the small dishes and tastier. And only 5 minutes from the Ramada.
Maybe I didn't order the right things at this restaurant. Menu had Russian, English and Chinese, plus pictures, so certainly easy to order. Service was fine.
Can't really rate 2046 because I am too old (and the music was too loud and I couldn't see through the haze). But a lot of people seemed to be having a good time, dancing, drinking, watching the show above the floor, being with friends. Think this place opened in 2005(?) and glad it's here!
Visited Alice's Bar in November with a couple of out-of-town friends. Although I'm not really a bar person, I did find Alice's to be a lively, entertaining place.
I can't really judge the drinks or food, the place seemed to have some kind of "beat" which I found entertaining. The Filipino band was good, but not the whole story. Maybe it the blond, Russian pole dancer.
Just seemed to be a lot going on here so that although I couldn't really have a conversation I enjoyed the people watching and the 'scene.'
