...why the address of "Fans" is just in Chinese?.... Recently chosing a place for night life in Dalian got a bit difficult since the relaxing hotel bar in Ramada, previous Holiday Inn, is closed and in rebuilding since more than half a year. It also won't be as before, they plan not to have life music anymore which brought us always lots of fun there. However, maybe someone can tell bar owners, such as "Fans", to design their ads a bit more "lao wai friendly"? I mean, it's not necessary if lao wai's are not welcome :-) and, I rated everything "1" cuz I haven't been there yet and won't go there as long as the address is not readable for non-chinese. We have other places in Dalian such as Alice Bar. She knows how to run a bar since more than 7 years, the time I met her in her very small first lao wai (western) bar in Dalian. Congratulations to her and her team, it's always a pleasure to be there (I guess many teacher/student expats disagree with me, haha). Fun is fun, everyone has an own opinion about that, it's alright with me, but introducing a pub or restaurant in an expat website could be a bit better, anyone agree?
