Dalian in the Past

Zhengren Street is a quiet place with Chinese and Japanese style buildings.The Chinar is there but not the old buildings with poor infrastructure.

Zhengren Street 		Ten years ago it was called Stalin Square.

Renmin Square -1 		The Policeman standing on the traffic control platform has been replaced by beautiful female Police officer.

Renmin Square -2 		The bus route has not changed but the architecture along the way is different now.

The 531 Bus
The Original Railway Station was located 100 meters to the east of the present one.<br /> It was built by the Russians over 100 hundred years ago using a Russian design of architecture.<br /> A small relic can be found among the high buildings next to No.46 Shengli Street, Xigang District.

The Original Railway Station 		You can still find barbers like this one in the quieter parts of Dalian.

Barbers 		Ladies in grey and blue, and some of them with tiny feet, which always causes my imagination of the pains they must have received while their feet were wrapped tight at their early ages.
