Hello ExPats,
Last Sunday turned out to be a near perfect day after all the rain earlier that morning. I was holding my breath early on but as our ExPats always do we rose to the occasion and we enjoyed a near record day of about 30 with some leaving early but we appreciate their dropping in to say hello and greeting their ExPat friends.
This Sunday was also memorable for the generous mix of foreigners joining our regulars and many Chinese friends to make it an extra special day. You'll see some photos of our youngest ExPat. At first we thought she was a little bashful but that only lasted a short while. She's a near perfect young lady and a joy to be around.
I have a favor to ask if anyone has contact with someone who can donate a door prize I'd sure like to know. Please contact me for details.
We should all offer our thanks to Michael and Mae Ann in ShanghaiExpat. Their support has been necessary to make us the best in Dalian. This is just the beginning and we'll see many changes to the site in the near future. From me and all the rest thanks for your concern and advice.
As always special thanks to Mr. Robert Wu, GM, of the Dalian Holiday Inn Empress, City Centre. For his council, advice, and providing the excellent service of his staff to make our ExPat events run smooth and help make Holiday Inn Express our ExPat destination.
This week I want to recognize our restaurant manager, Yuki for her professionalism, and attention to detail. For all of us, Yuki, thanks.
