Noah's was such a dissapointment.... their service has gotten aweful recently. Went there on Saturday evening with friends. Just to get a waiter to come over and take orders requires quite a lot of yelling. Not to mention they have an angry scowl on their face which doesn't exactly say warm welcome into the bar! I didn't even bother ordering a pizza cause getting a waiter took 15 mins, and if I can remember, last time when I was there, getting a pizza took about 2 hours. The Gin Tonic we ordered didn't even have ice in it. There's no air conditioning in there. I dont think I will be going back unless they renovate the place and get new staff!
went to noah's recently with a group of people-- absolutely terrible service-- slow!!!!!!!!! waited over 25 minutes before being asked to place an order for a beer-- which never came!! they take 1 liquid order at a time-- said they might not have enough ingredients to make our pizza-- AND IT MIGHT TAKE A COUPLE OF HOURS BEFORE WE COULD GET ANY!!!!!!!!!!! if they had enough dough --- they seemed very indifferent to our business-- left and won't go back
Noahs ark provides a nice environment to have a cheap drink in a foreigner friendly environment with good music. If you bring a friend you may even use one of the public chess, connect-4 or dice games to play a little. The pizza is good there but it really needs some time to be done so you better dont be too hungry when you arrive there. The place is a usual hang-out of several english teachers in dalian and a really good choice to have a beer in quiet atmosphere after work. By the way, I totally agree with Bullitts review.

Good atmosphere, Good food, Glacial service, Wednesday, 21 February 2007
I stopped by Noah's last night for a beer and a pizza and was pleased to find a nice laidback bar atmosphere. They were playing some decent blues tunes (B.B. King) while the band was getting ready to play. I was solo, so I grabbed a seat at the bar. The waitress came right over, and I ordered a big bottle of Asahi for 15 kuai and a small pizza. I thought things were off to a great start. 30 mins later, I enquired after my pizza which had yet to arrive and was told(in Chinese) that the kitchen was very busy. I looked around and there were not that many people eating, but decided to let it go and the waitress went on circling the bar trying to look busy. (she did not go check on my food) At about the hour mark, I complained again. This time I was a bit more forceful, and the waitress went to the kitchen and appeared with my pizza. The pizza was actually quite good, and I'm sure I will be going back despite the long wait. In the final analysis, seems like a really good chill bar with good food and cheap beer. But you might want to bring a snack for the wait...
