been a couple of times recently with my girlfriend-- a jumping place with little room to spare-- so if you like BIG crowds, loud music, a bouncing dance floor and lots of pretty chinese and philippino dancers, then this is the best place in dalian -- pole dancers are not my thing, but i do admire their athleticism-- even my girlfriend likes to watch them, so i don't get into trouble looking!! lots of attractive, single chinese gals there (your guess is as good as mine!) i sure wish they could ventilate some of the smoke though; never tried any food

My much anticipated trip to Alice's Bar, Saturday, 09 February 2008
I finally made it to Alice's Bar after the big firework display. The staff is very friedly. The drinks were costly, but I expected this. I did not try the food, but it appeared to be tasty from where I was seated. The pole dancers were entertaining and daring with some of their moves. The only thing I didn't quite understand is the ongoing live perforances. I felt as if I was watching American Idol. Although the performers were nice. I thought that people came to the club to dance. Maybe performing on stage is a local thing. I'm not into the techno music scene, so that didn't work for me either. The atmosphere is very upbeat and lively so that along with a friend I met kept me there longer than I expected to be.
Its really lively place. The girls are........woo la la....... what an eye feast..... skimpily dress, eye goggling for the guys.
Music played is good, not too loud. The dancers are ok...... not fantastic dancing.
The Filipino band is good and the band members are friendly too, so are the service staffs.
Did not have any food there so cannot comment on food.
Crowd consists of local and caucasian, 50-50.
I will definately be back. Really enjoyed being there.
Most happening pub in Dalian. I go there whenever in town and also take my Foreign friends and customers and 99.9% of them are of the same opinion.
Lovely dancers. Specially the chinese pole dancer and the short dancer doing a bit of Latino numbers.
Friendly waiters and even more friendly the owner herself"ALICE".
U get what u want drinks, games and ..... just ask for it, sure u will not be dissapointed.

pretty good considering, Saturday, 13 October 2007
the place is bumpin most of the time which is waaaay more than can be said about most places i visited. the usual for dalian bars in terms of prices (expensive) but the drinks were good. if you're a dude i'm sure its great what with the skimpy pole dancers and Filipino dancers. the music is fun for dancing too, its the usual dalian/chinese faves: believe-cher, kiss-prince, etc... while i've had fun both times i went there, the first time a waiter refused to serve me water and told me they didn't have it so the second time i brought a bottle of water and they told me you can't bring outside water and they do sell it so... that was kinda whack. fun place, end of story.
