Going Deaf....... Local crowd, Sunday, 27 January 2008

We were there at about 8.30pm and there's a group of Caucasian guys other than us. Just before the performance starts at 9.30pm, the Caucasian guys left. Initial we wondered why, but once the band start singing we understood why they left. The base is so....high that we've to stuff tissue papers in our ears in order not to damage our ear drums, the band cannot sing. Can’t understand a single word they sing whether in English or Chinese. Place packed with locals when the band starts.

The drink (vodka) the waiter recommended saying it’ll not cause any hang over and had "smooth" written on the bottle.... We all hung with great headache. We left before we finish our drinks because my friend gets suffocated in the smoke as there’s no ventilation.

It’s a place we will definitely not go again. Not in our life in Dalian anyway.
